Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 6, 2026

TSmartRoute ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TSmartRoute platform at tsmartroute.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our route optimization and logistics management services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and company details. This information is necessary to provide our services and manage your account.

1.2 Business Data

To provide route optimization and logistics services, we process delivery addresses, product catalogs, customer lists, order information, and route data that you input or import into the platform.

1.3 QuickBooks Integration Data

If you connect your QuickBooks account, we access product/inventory data through the QuickBooks API using OAuth 2.0 authentication. We store only the data necessary for product synchronization (product names, SKUs, descriptions, pricing, and inventory quantities). We do not access or store your financial statements, bank accounts, or payment information from QuickBooks.

1.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address, and device information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our route optimization services
  • Synchronize product data between QuickBooks and our platform
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, notifications)
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform
  • Respond to customer support inquiries
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the platform (hosting, email delivery, analytics), bound by data processing agreements.
  • QuickBooks/Intuit: When you authorize the integration, data flows between our platform and QuickBooks as necessary for product synchronization.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption at rest, Row Level Security (RLS) at the database level, and regular security audits. OAuth 2.0 tokens for third-party integrations are stored securely and refreshed automatically.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account or disconnect an integration, associated data is removed within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect third-party integrations (e.g., QuickBooks) at any time
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

7. Third-Party Integrations

Our platform integrates with third-party services including Intuit QuickBooks. Each integration requires explicit authorization from you. You can revoke access to any integration at any time through your account settings or the third-party's own settings. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
